    We have a new and exciting opportunity for a dedicated Salesprofessional to drive sales within our Safety area. Thisunique role with see you establish and build profitable businesswith new and existing customers, while being an active member ofthe Specialist Solutions Team and contributing to the sales growththroughout Blackwoods.

    Reporting into the Area Sales Manager, you will also beresponsible for :

  • Achieve budgeted sales and trading contribution targets in relevant product categories
  • Seek and develop opportunities for growth in relevant product categories through strategic planning and analysis
  • Continually monitor and seek to improve trading margin through active involvement in substitution and / or rationalisation opportunities
  • Gather information regarding customer activities & plans, and develop strategies based on anticipated customer needs
  • Support and drive planned marketed and technical training campaigns
  • Attend specified product and skill development training courses as required
  • Work collaboratively and strategically with selected technical supply partners
  • Conduct monthly specialist product training sessions with Account Managers and Customer Service teams to maintain an awareness of product applications.
  • As the Successful applicant you will be anexperienced sales professional with knowledge of the safetyindustry / products, with exceptional relationship management skillsand strong existing relationships.

    You will be a strong and trustworthy communicator and prioritise customer service whilemaximising every opportunity you are presented with.

    You havesuperior knowledge of sales concepts with proven skills innegotiation, problem solving and commercial acumen. Having anunderstanding of WHS legislation will be highly advantageoushowever it will be your drive and determination to deliver resultsthat will see you excel.
