As the Manager , you’ll plan, scope, execute, and report on specific firm-wide projects and initiatives; work with the Business Services stakeholders (including the CRO, CIO, IT Security, COO & Risk Management) to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
You’ll also undertake audit reviews and investigations as required, working with external parties and report back to key stakeholders.
Your new role : As the Manager with the Technology Risk and Operations Group your responsibilities would include :
Driving a strong risk management culture, and working with the 1st Line of defence to ensure sustainable risk management outcomes
Leading risk management governance forums to identify, communicate and manage risks
Co-ordinating risk management activities including ongoing project management of actions arising out of the risk register
Proactively identifying and managing the delivery risks associated with change initiatives
You bring to the role : You’ll have a strong background in operational areas where you’ve worked with risk management, IT security and / or business assurance roles, as well as :
Exceptional time management and planning skills allowing you to work with detail, while also being strategic and cognisant of broader issues
Maintains focus and delivers under pressure; can manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines
Good commercial judgement and appreciation of risk
Experience in Information security in cloud environments, risk profiling or governance
