You will be responsible for providing support to the Respiratory & Sleep Medicine health care team and the provision of clinical support through the management of a portfolio in research.
You will recruit, coordinate and care for the trial subjects, as well as participating in trial follow-up and recording data.
The study will require investigations, clinical reviews and the handling and preparation of laboratory specimens. There is data collection and possible liaison with an interstate coordinator and local participants.
Playing a key role in identification, delivery and evaluation of research outcomes, you will work in collaboration with other health professionals and agencies, and in partnership with children and their families to ensure optimum production of high quality and health-
oriented research data. You will be accountable for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.

You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective organisation, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to work with individuals and families from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds for positive health outcomes.
