Monadelphous' Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of mechanical and electrical maintenance services, shutdowns, fixed plant maintenance services, access solutions, dewatering services, specialist coatings, and sustaining capital works.

The Workforce Management function is responsible for the allocation, compliance and successful mobilisation of resources to site shutdown and maintenance projects across a variety of sites and clients.

Within the workforce management function our main focus is on providing a high level of customer service and a seamless and consistent experience to our employees.

Reporting to the Workforce Manager you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 3-5 direct reports within Workforce Management (Workforce Team Leaders, Supervisor & HSE Resourcing) to ensure the day to day operational requirements are met within and quality and productivity targets, whilst helping Workforce Management deliver against its strategic outcomes and vision.

You will be required to :

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of skilled leaders and support functions
  • Provide a key link and liaison point between Workforce Management and Operations to ensure site and client requirements are managed
  • Manage the day to day operational requirements of manning and resource allocation to demand
  • Manage and lead change within the workplace
  • Build operational efficiency through data analytics, KPI development and management and providing insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Be a key player in the design, delivery and implementation of business planning and strategic delivery
  • Champion and foster a continuous improvement environment
  • What We Are Looking For

    The focus of this role will be to provide key support to the Workforce Manager in the outcomes of business strategy and providing support to direct reports to enable them to focus on the core activities of their roles.

    To be successful in this role, we are looking for :

  • A strong people leader with demonstrated experience in managing a team of leaders
  • Experience in delivering change into a high transaction, fast paced environment
  • Experience in managing quality assurance and compliance activities (internally and externally)
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
  • Proven ability to innovate and challenge the norm
  • Prior exposure or experience to process improvement methodologies
  • A strong background and experience in behavioural based coaching to deliver outcomes
  • Experience in managing a range of stakeholders and fostering relationships through the levels front line employees to senior management
  • Prior experience to site based mobilisation will be advantageous
