Your contribution :

  • Provide advice to inform the development of strategic projects, within tight timeframes, across a variety of infrastructure initiatives
  • Contribute key inputs to the State Infrastructure Plan, and it's implementation actions
  • Develop effective working relationships and liaise and negotiate with other State agencies and other levels of government, community groups, non-
  • government organisations and the private sector, on a range of key issues associated with infrastructure and land use planning.

  • Contribute specialist knowledge and expertise to strategy / planning / policy areas of work.
  • Develop high level submissions and communicate complex ideas to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, briefing materials and correspondence as required, associated with social and economic infrastructure strategy, policy and planning initiatives.
  • Support the Director in providing strategic, policy and service delivery advice to the Minister and Director-General on matters relevant to Infrastructure Policy and Planning.
  • Represent the department at key industry / stakeholders events in an effective and professional manner.
  • Engage actively in a team environment and contribute to a positive culture, collaborating with project teams across the group as required, to deliver key policies, plans, strategies and recommendations.
