  • Manage and undertake the provision of value for money assessments, impact analysis and economic evaluations of projects using appropriate methodologies to demonstrate the impacts of projects on economic growth and industry development to Queensland.
  • Manage and undertake specialist economic and financial analyses of programs, major projects and initiatives based on sound economic and commercial practices and guidelines and develop high quality risk management recommendations and solutions.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with government departments and project sponsors
  • Lead and manage staff and project teams (when required) and provide support to senior officers and management.
  • Prepare reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence as directed by senior officers and management.
  • Foster an environment that values performance, superior client service, continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high quality services in supervising and promoting the development of subordinate staff.
  • Actively contribute to and support major organisational change strategies that ensure that the Department's management practices are consistent with contemporary best practice', Government policies and legislative requirements.
  • Assist with due diligence, commercial assessment and review foreign investment proposals as required and directed by management
  • Applications to remain current for 12 months.
