Workforce Development Officer

Division : Child Protection and Family Support Position No : 010584 Salary : Level 4, $78,452 - $82,797 pa - PSGOGA Work Type : Fixed Term -

Full Time Location : East Perth Closing Date : 2018-07-16 4 : 00 PM (YYYY-MM-DD)

LOCATION

This position is based in East Perth. You will be in close proximity to public transport, carparks and cafes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Workforce Development Officer undertakes projects and contributes to the coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of various Human Resource programs, projects and policies that are aligned with the Department’s strategic and business objectives to facilitate workforce efficiency and effectiveness.

Other key responsibilities include the following :

  • Developing and maintaining systems, resources and services to support program outcomes.
  • Maintaining an awareness of current and relevant human resource trends, issues and technologies related to equity and diversity, management, workforce planning and organisational development.
  • Coordinating and contributing to the preparation of proposals, reports, policy and correspondence.

    This is a temporary full time opportunity commencing as soon as possible to 31 May 2019 with the possibility of extension subject to business needs.
