We are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join our NPI team to work as part of our Cochlear Brisbane Operations Manufacturing division based in Newstead.
This operation manufactures all external accessory components.
This position will be offered on a fixed term contract of approximately 8 months.
Under the leadership of the Lead NPI Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and successful ramp up of new products by developing and implementing stable and repeatable manufacturing processes by collaborating with and influencing the output of product design teams, suppliers and production.

You will have a background as a qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical) and experience working within a Quality Management System, exposure to a Production Management System (such as LEAN), proven competencies in problem solving, design, manufacturing processes and the ability to influence people at all levels.
