We are a leader in engineering, design, project management and execution of construction projects for turnkey facilities and water treatment plants.
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Project Engineer to provide engineering assistance to the Project Managers.
Key responsibilities of this role are
Check the validity of technical decisions made within the framework of the project.
Ensure that all requirements are incorporated into the design.
Ensure design changes are reviewed, approved, recorded, maintained and communicated to all relevant parties
Assist in the selection and creation of new suppliers and sub-contractors in the system
Liaise with the suppliers for quotations, prepare and maintain purchase orders and process invoices
Undertake installation supervision, commissioning activities and performance testing activities on project sites
Assist with preparation and filing of OHS documentation and monthly reports
Prepare Operating and Maintenance manuals
Manage non-compliance issues and propose preventive and corrective measures.
General tasks as requested from time to time by Project Managers to assist with execution of various projects, tender proposals or process / procedures reviews and development.
What we are looking for
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in water treatment industry.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels.
The right to permanently work in Australia.
Please note that travel to site will be required.
