  • About the role

    We are looking for a Team Leader Production Materials Handling to lead an operating team towards achieving our safety, cash, people, ownership and growth objectives through executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities.

    This role is a great opportunity for a safety focused supervisor to lead the operating activities within materials handling including ship loading and unloading, caustic soda storage and delivery infrastructure.

    Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent Material Handling, you will be :

  • Demonstrating personal and team behaviours that meet or exceed the Yarwun Visions and Models for leadership.
  • Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement.
  • Providing support in shutdown planning and execution.
  • Operating strategy and tactic development and improvement.
  • Delivering weekly, monthly and annual production and safety performance KPI’s.
  • Managing expenditure within the allocated budget and execution of Yarwun operating system.
  • About you

    To be successfully considered for this role, you will have :

  • Experience supervising in a mining, processing, or materials handling environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, such as Excel, Word and Projects.
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • It will also be beneficial if you have :

  • Diploma in Frontline Management, critical risk management and cost management experience.
