We invite experienced Registered Nurses and Endorsed EnrolledNurses to apply for our casual nursing pool at Lake MacquariePrivate Hospital

Successful applicants will be offered a place in the casualnurse pool and contacted for the purpose of rostered shifts onvarious wards within the facility.

This is a valuable opportunity to gain diverse experience andwill demonstrate your flexible nature and adaptability to change.

You will work with our dedicated teams of CNS’ RNs, ENs andAINs to provide excellent and quality health care to a variety ofacute surgical and medical / oncology patients.

We are looking for :

RN & EEN’s who enjoy providing high quality nursingcare to patients with diverse health issues. We need RN’s andEEN’s who proactively engage with patients in order tounderstand their needs better.

We need nurses that are willing to arange of shifts including night duty!

We are looking for RN / EEN’s with excellent communicationskills, a strong focus on patient care and exceptional work ethic.

You will require strong time management skills and be available towork any shift where there is a deficit in the facility.

Desirable experience would include any of thefollowing :

  • Post Graduate experience in a surgical clinical setting
  • Critical care experience
  • Emergency department experience
  • Essential Selection Criteria :

  • Registered Nurse and Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with current authority to Practice with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience with the care and management of acute patients in acute Australian hospitals
  • Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the nursing care of patients by applying evidence based practice and critical thinking in an acute and critical care setting
  • Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to apply and share professional expertise to immediate work and developments within field of expertise to enhance service delivery
  • Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with multidisciplinary, families and communities focusing upon promotion and enhancement of outcomes for all diversity of patients
  • Demonstrated current clinical practice in an acute care facility in Australia
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and a willingness to work
  • Current National Police Clearance Check - CLICK
