    The Opportunity

    With big growth plans predicted my client is looking to appoint an experienced BDM with the ability to open doors and provide complex solutions to C-

    Level executives within the above mentioned fields. This opportunity would suit a confident individual who knows how to navigate the waters within these fields and a track record of achievement Business Development.

    You will be given an opportunity to join a company that are committed to investing in their people and their service which allows for continued success and expansion throughout the business and their clients businesses.

    Bring your passion for business development, customer engagement and technical sales and your network of trusted contacts in the Enterprise space to a company that will offer you support and will offer you ongoing opportunities for success and advancement .

    You will report directly into the CEO and be supported by a dedicated team of Industry Specialists, Consulting Engineers and Project Managers to ensure your success in the role.

    Your Role :

  • Bring a solutions focused enthusiastic approach to your clients
  • Analyse prospective customer requirements and provide a tailored solution
  • Create profitable and commercially viable solutions and pricing strategies to address customer's commercial requirements and market segment
  • Regularly conduct client visits to maintain a thorough understanding of their business
  • Provide clients with your industry expertise to build & maintain trusted relationships
  • Work with multiple decision makers across different customer Business Units
  • Your required skill set :

  • 10 + years of Business Development experience
  • You will know how to work your way around a factory or mining site
  • Sales experience within Mining, Engineering, Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, Heavy Industry or similar
  • Previous experience managing large projects, economics and pricing
  • Ability to get in front of Engineer Managers & COO's etc
  • A strategic outlook with a 'hands on' approach
  • A real drive to achieve and exceed targets
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating large deals
  • Achievement oriented
  • A history of successfully delivering on both target and high customer satisfaction measures
  • Tertiary qualification in business highly regarded
