About the opportunity
Working within a small team to provide Physiotherapy at Cowra Health Service. You will provide safe compassionate person centred care through assessment and treatment of inpatients and outpatients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
Along with clinical care you will also provide support and supervision for junior Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants within the physiotherapy department.
Cowra is located 310 kilometres due west of Sydney, 92 kilometres south west of Orange, 110 kilometres south west of Bathurst and just over two hours from the nation’s capital, Canberra.
With the beautiful Wyangala Dam only a short drive from town, as well as the Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre and a number of arts galleries and museums in town, Cowra is a great place to live and work.
Cowra Health Service is a procedural hospital with 30 beds including 24-hour emergency care, acute and sub-acute / non-acute inpatient services including medical, surgical, rehabilitation, maternity, palliative care, diagnostic services, outpatient services including renal dialysis and a range of primary and community health care services.
