As Dell EMC continues to evolve and bring our message to market, we are excited to offer a new role and are seeking an experienced sales professional who will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of emerging customers in our 1-100 employee sales segment.
Focus will be on developing existing customers and acquiring new Accounts. Sales will be generated over the phone & face to face by building relationships with our customers, conducting a needs analysis and building an IT solution to meet customer's needs.
You will work in conjunction with offshore Large Order Reps to implement strategic account management plans and ensure customer expectations are always met.
The scope of the position includes new account allocations as well as the development and maintenance of existing clients within the account base allocated.
Key Responsibilities : Achieve targets by selling, up-selling and cross-selling Dell's range of products, third party products and services using consultative selling techniques Responsible for acquiring strategically targeted new accounts in the territory and growing the territory / account base Responsible for large opportunities and strategic customer requirements Drive and execute account management activities, qualifying and developing sales opportunities and leveraging specialty resources and partners Via Strategic Selling, grow mind share within current account base to introduce new lines of business Essential Skills : Previous Account Management and Sales experience within the IT sector (3-5 years) Experience in relationship selling or appropriate industry experience / exposure Self-motivated, well organised and able to work well within a team Well-developed negotiation and sales persuasion skills Consultative selling skills
