Aboutthe role

  • The Facilities Attendant works under direct supervision to assist in the effective operation of the Front Desk and Café, provides quality programs for children eight weeks to twelve years of age in the Crèche and cleaning services to the Aquatics area.
  • The casual rate for these positions are $21.64 gross per hour plus casual loading and up to 12.4% superannuation.
  • We are currently recruiting for twelve (12) casual positions, though more positions may be made available in the future.
  • This process will remain current for 12 months, therefore your application may be used to fill future vacancies.

  • These positions will be based at the Milne Bay Aquatic Centre and Highfields Fitness and Recreation Centre.

  • Hold the mandatory qualification(s), training, and / or experience, as outlined under the Success Criteria in the Position Description (attached).
  • The ability to undertake routine activities and plan own work under specific instructions and procedures in order to meet deadlines.
  • Developing knowledge of statutory requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the work area and the ability to obtain knowledge of statutory regulations, codes of practices and legislation pertaining to the carrying out of child care duties.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner.
