The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their previous experience in an administration position along with their passion for both people and process.

Essential attributes include :

  • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently to all levels within the business, both verbally and in writing.
  • Immaculate attention to detail, and good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Experience in administration and have an eagerness to learn new skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Total commitment to confidentiality.
  • A high level of competence in Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience in time-keeping software (specifically Kronos) is preferred but not essential.
  • A passion for people and leading business through people.

  • As People & Culture Administrator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to;
  • Ensuring all People and Culture administrative systems are accurate, efficient and compliant.
  • Supporting the People and Culture Team with the recruitment and on-boarding of new co-workers.
  • Supporting the People and Culture Team to ensure all administration tasks connected to employment law are completed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient uniform management system.
  • Coaching and educating managers on the effective use of our rostering system. Experience with using Kronos or any rostering systems will be highly desirable but not necessary.

    Together with the People and Culture Team, you will support the delivery of the People and Culture Action Plan, People and Culture Idea and the IKEA Business Objectives by working in conjunction with all departments and co-workers in store.

    Additionally you will work closely with and support our People and Culture Planning Specialist to ensure timely posting of staff work schedules to deliver the needs of the store while continuously seeking and coordinating business opportunities through a core focus on IKEA co-workers, customers and the IKEA business.
