ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting to fill AFL Operations roles within our expanding team in QLD. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology as part of a young and dynamic team.
The role involves the setup and operation of our on site services at AFL venues in Brisbane and Gold Coast. We will equip you with the technical training, support and full exposure to our systems to perform your day to day tasks but also encourage development and progression to help make an impact on what we do.
Contract : Freelance
Salary : Competitive Rate

RESPONSIBILITIES
Setting up our on site technology
Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures
Liaising with officials, stadium / club personnel, match officials and host broadcasters on-site
Monitoring and operating the system during the match
Work with our remote team to proactively address technical issues
Analyzing software performances, being able to troubleshoot and report encountered issues
Building and maintaining our hardware and equipment including communication with Hawk-Eye staff.
Requirements
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
The right to live and work in Australia
A strong technical background, ideally in Broadcast or IT
Ideally with a university degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with relevant equivalent experience
Bright and enterprising with excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive, responsible attitude and ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision
Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, procedural, live broadcast environment
Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner with attention to good communication.
An interest in sport and / or sports analysis, ideally with a good knowledge of AFL and other codes
Proactive motivation and desire to learn new skills whilst building upon what you already have to offer.
Able to adapt to flexible working conditions with irregular working days including weekends and longer days
