As we continue to focus on growing our Events business and align with new internal processes and initiatives, our organisation is currently in search for an experienced Sector Manager in Events to join our Australia Pacific team.

In this role you will be responsible for the events sector revenue growth by way of control, development, enhancement and motivation of the events sales throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands.

You will coordinate key projects, create and execute sales strategies, optimise market penetration and manage customer accounts.

Ensure contract profitability by means of optimising product pricing and yield management. You will also support the Operational areas by working with local Area Sales Managers to identify local opportunities for revenue gain.

This is a fast-paced / hands on operational management role, that will require you to approach the position with an owner / operator mind-set and can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.

In an ever-changing business, you will be nimble in seizing opportunities to pioneer effective ways to meet and exceed your key responsibilities : Events Project Management and Events Technical Specialist for Aggreko Support Head of Sales and Global Events Leadership to establish sales and marketing plan that aligns with their direction and guidance Drive and manages the execution of territory sales plans Execute on sales processes and discipline in using necessary sales tools and technologies (Salesforce) Drive Sales efficiency through weekly, monthly, quarterly sales review and corrective action plan Create and maintain relationships at key levels with selected customers and accounts and grow the Events business.

Assess and support credit control actions in finance for overdue payment invoices. Regular updates / communication of Event market trends to the business.

Also, any areas for development to best service our customer needs. Forecast business revenue levels and report formally to Head of Sales on a monthly basis on Area sales activity, customer development, competition and KPI’s Actively support Medallia response rate and NPS score improvement.
