We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company in The Construction Sector.

  • Deliver construction input to project budget development, including approving project manager input to budget
  • Ensure construction activities meet budget requirements by driving cost focus and adherence to cost control systems through project management / construction staff
  • Ensure that daily / weekly costing of key construction activities is undertaken and reported to Operations Manager
  • Review cost reports in all construction areas
  • Ensure all project income is maximised
  • Overview all construction resources and methods
  • Ensure programs match budget and achieves target completion dates
  • Manage coordinated construction programme for project which takes account of all interfaces and matches programs to master
  • Ensure subcontractors are managed and delivered to the requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 8+ years Project Management / Engineering experience working on large Civil infrastructure projects
  • Excellent understanding of bulk earthworks and OHLE.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership and man management skills
  • A successful track record working for major contractors on large infrastructure projects
