About therole

Reporting to the AssuranceManager, you will be actively involved in the delivery of theAssurance Program, in line with strategic objectives.

This willinvolve providing assurance over key business activities throughthe review and validation of key controls and risk managementprocesses.

Key duties and responsibilities ofthis position include :

  • Review business unit risks and controls, testing of key controls and delivering valuable suggestions for improvement to mitigate control gaps or weaknesses
  • Prepare high-quality assurance working papers and deliverables
  • Prepare clear and articulate assurance reports, suitable for dissemination to senior management
  • Execute other projects as requested in an effective and timely manner
  • Be involved in the ongoing development of the assurance framework
  • What we’re lookingfor

    To be considered for this role,you will have demonstrated experience in assurance or auditing inthe banking / financial services industry and hold professionalqualifications such as CA or CPA, or workingtowards.

    Strong communication,interpersonal and influencing skills are essential as the roleinvolves extensive interaction with all levels of management andthe opportunity to work closely with stakeholders in drivingcontinuous change and identifying opportunities to improve theefficiency and effectiveness of business processes andcontrols.

    You will be able to work autonomously and as partof a team and be capable of managing competing prioritieseffectively.

    Postgraduate qualifications in arelevant field such as Finance, Risk and Compliance or Audit willbe highly regarded.
