    Roy Hill’s independently owned and operated railway is a 344km standard gauge, single line, heavy haul railway built to transport 60Mtpa of iron ore from the Roy Hill Mine to the dedicated Port stockyard facility in Port Hedland.

    Utilising state-of-the-art train loading systems and the fastest rail car dumpers, the Rail division is a leading example of our innovation and technology investments.

    Our Rail Operations leadership team is now seeking a Superintendent Track & Civil Delivery to join the group on an 8 : 6 / 4 : 3 / 4 : 3 roster.

    The Superintendent Track & Civil Delivery will be responsible for the execution of the Track and Delivery maintenance plan and strategy for both rail infrastructure and civil infrastructure that supports the rail function.

    Accountabilities will include : -

  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships across teams and individuals
  • Establish effective teams through recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring, rewarding and promoting high calibre employees
  • Establish context and ensure alignment to values and standards within team
  • Monitor and develop the quality of team performance
  • Identify the development needs of individuals and coach, mentor, and support them to improve their knowledge, skills or performance
  • Ensure compliance with all training and safety systems required for all Roy Hill and contractor staff
  • Ensure the business production schedule; budget and legislative requirements are met
  • The Real You’

    For you to achieve outstanding results in this position you will have the following : -

  • Australian recognised Railway Track and Civil Trade Certification or Engineering qualification e.g. certificate, diploma or degree
  • Current Australian drivers licence (class C)
  • Thorough understanding of the Rail Safety Management System (RSMS)
  • Rail Safeworking Level 5
  • Proven technical knowledge of Track and Civil maintenance requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance planning including familiarity with SAP
