    About the role

    This position is based in various remote communities throughout NT and far north QLD

    As part of our dynamic store Refresh Team, the Refresh Relief Manager is primarily responsible for a number of store re-development and upgrading tasks, and secondarily performs Relief Store Manager duties throughout community stores in NT and QLD.

    You will work hand in hand with the Refresh Manager and Store Managers to build relationships whilst focusing on key objectives set by the overarching organisational strategy.

    This position will require you to be in community for extended periods of time.


  • Adhere to the project tasks and schedules which include, but are not limited to relaying to macro / micro space erecting signage;
  • assembling fixtures; organising stock and store rooms; installing and trouble-shooting computer systems with remote aid from technicians;
  • minor repairs; cleaning; and installing / replacing shop fittings

  • Using power tool and other hand held equipment for installations
  • Attend meetings with the Refresh Manager and Store Team
  • Communicate risks to schedule / budget with Line Manager
  • Develop a professional, positive and courteous relationship with the store's Directors / committee members, Store Team, key service providers in the community
  • Assist with relief Store Manager duties as required
  • Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the retail industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency with power tools
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead, engage and create a high pace and performance' culture
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Computer literacy on windows, android / ios based applications
  • Community minded with a passion to make positive differences
