The Support Engineer will provide guidance about best practices and integration to our customers including assistance in debugging the Emarsys Plugins .
They will be trusted to create high quality, validated, maintainable and tested documentation assets, as well as working towards maximizing the effectiveness of Plugin implementations for new and existing clients .
They will support the Implementation consultants in providing a world-class experience to our clients throughout the onboarding process, and create a feedback loop with the product team to influence planned developments and optimizations in regards to Plugins.
This will be an important position supporting our Mid Market strategy by helping our Sales and Solution Consultants in winning more Magento and Shopify+ clients
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support, advice and assistance to new and existing business clients implementing or using the Emarsys Plugins
Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the Emarsys’ platform, implementations and API architecture
Participate, when required in meetings with clients, project developers and / or senior stakeholders as a technical expert on the Emarsys Plugin Area.
Keep the client and stakeholders informed of the progress of issue resolution through regular status reporting and ongoing communication in a timely manner while trying to meet and exceed the assigned SLAs
Deliver technical instructions and complicated solution descriptions in a professional, error-free and simple to understand manner.
Suggest new solutions to improve existing implementations
Work closely with Professional Services (Project Managers, Solutions Architects & Strategic Consultants) to ensure the successful delivery and the integrations of Emarsys’ plugins according to the clients’ needs and defined objectives
Work closely with the Plugins Product Owners and Developments team to provide input on possible product improvements and assist in implementing and testing new features
Experience with Cloud Commerce systems - Magento, Shopify , Bigcommerce, Salesforce commerce cloud
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience web technologies and standards (HTML & CSS / DNS / SMTP / API / data transfer protocols and databases)
Experience with a programming language ( PHP preferred)
Working knowledge in modern web development workflows
Deep knowledge of APIs
MySQL knowledge and sound knowledge of Linux
High-level communication skills and client-facing attitude
Highly motivated to learn and keep up-to-date constantly with new technologies
