PS Project Manager will be responsible for multiple large and complex billable projects within schedule, budget, quality and contracted deliverables.
The PM is a hands-on individual with a combination of business and technical leadership skills. The PM will be responsible for reviewing existing and gathering new customer requirements and translating those requirements into technical solutions that solve business issues.
What is it like a day as PS Project Manager Keystones
Project Management Subject-Matter-Expert who leads by example by supporting efforts to develop and launch PS best practices while implementing risk mitigation when needed
Manage project to time, budget, quality and contracted deliverables (including design, planning, estimating, scheduling, milestone reviews, execution, implementation etc.)
Establish project definition and business tracking of professional service opportunities
Work with Services Sales to position technical / business solution with Customer
Scope new project opportunities, then architecture, design, and implementation of solutions
Identify activities to optimize customer backlog hours
Identify, utilize and manage key resources required to meet project goals
Resource metrics reporting and responsibilities for project team utilization and project status updates
Responsible for : project setup and project team’s time entry; budget management, including execution of change requests;
SOW review and ensuring compliance
Weekly updates / meetings with project team, customer and leadership team
Drive project reviews for management and customers with the ability to present status reports, dashboards, and presentations to C-level stakeholders.
Understand resourcing constraints and challenges for large scale projects
What do you bring to the table ?
Hands-on skills in managing the delivery of large size storage solutions applying some program management techniques and driving identified PS business initiatives
Expert Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Project capabilities
Technical knowledge in the area of systems, storage, and data management
Ability to work collaboratively with and motivate other employees in a team environment to meet necessary goals and pre-defined timelines
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships in large teams of experts
Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential
Some Night and Weekend work required
