Turner & Townsend are recruiting for a Project Risk Analyst to join the Infrastructure team in Brisbane. Reporting through to the Program Risk Lead the Project Risk Analyst will provide support to an array of major infrastructure projects and partner closely with multiple project managers across all facets of the risk management process and defined the risk management plans and procedures.

Job Description

  • Support the maintenance of risks and opportunities within ERMS risk systems for the projects they are embedded within
  • Support projects going through Stage Gates with the risk management deliverables as defined in the Program Risk Management Plans
  • Support development, implementation and continuous improvement of risk management on their projects
  • Facilitate project risk reviews on a monthly basis with the Project Manager and team
  • Maintain visibility of risk trigger points to facilitate risk profiling, timely drawdown of risk contingency or retirement of risks.
  • Use risk data to inform project decision making and planning.
  • Assist with the identification and recording of appropriate management responses which are measurable and specific, along with assessing the post mitigated positions.
  • Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining Risk contingency.
  • Produce risk reports and dashboard content as required, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of risk and opportunity status.
  • Assist in quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels.
  • Support Risk Champions forums
  • Attend the weekly Program Risk Management meetings
  • Provide risk management training within the Programs
  • Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you will possess strong risk analysis & time management skills. Be able to demonstrate working knowledge of risk management process, including :

  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 31000 : 2018
  • Ability to communicate risk information to project directors and managers
  • Proven experience facilitating risk workshops
  • Ability to use risk systems (CGR ERMS or similar)
  • Quantitative cost and schedule risk assessment (QRA) experience ( Risk, OPRA software or similar) an advantage.
  • Major project and / or railway experience would be an asset
  • Flexibility to work within a matrix organisation with direct and indirect reporting lines
  • Degree qualified or hold relevant qualifications within the risk management industry.
