Geotab is seeking a Partner Account Manager who will quickly contribute to our Sales team and provide exemplary account management to our partners and Resellers across Australia.

If you love sales and technology and are keen to join a fast-growing technology firm we would love to hear from you!What are the details of this position : As a Partner Account Manager (PAM), your key area of responsibility will be to grow existing accounts while building relationships and onboarding programs for new Resellers.

The PAM will engage the Reseller’s leadership and sales teams to drive opportunities by training and educating Reseller's and customers on the Geotab platform.

Salesforce will be your primary tool to track and document sales opportunities and funnels. Additional responsibilities include, account management, strategic planning, sales operations and escalation, trade show attendance, and promote use of and educate on our partner Marketplace.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience as an Account Manager in a technical organisation, be a self-starter, and organised with strong sales and training skills.

In addition, the successful candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to engage and captivate an audience.

Duties and Tasks / Essential Functions

  • Grow assigned Reseller accounts, deliver year over year connected unit growth
  • Complete regular input and upkeep of opportunities in Salesforce
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Become an expert on Geotab hardware, software, and integration capabilities with comfort navigating software demonstrations to show benefits and value for each prospective opportunity
  • Monthly / Weekly / Quarterly Meetings - the Partner Account Manager will be required to consistently hold regular business review meetings with their Reseller accounts
  • Continually increase technical sales acumen and effectively project manage complex solution sales
  • Keep up to date with latest Marketplace solution offerings, becoming a solution specialist for assigned accounts
  • Utilise training tools to increase product knowledge and mind share with the Reseller and customer base, identify ongoing training needs
  • Experience / Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years experience in a channel sales or account management role
  • Demonstrated success in accurately forecasting account and volume activities, meeting and exceeding goals
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Google Business Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion
  • Ability to travel within Australia frequently (when government regulations allow, and Geotab is comfortable this can be performed safely)
  • Occasional travel to Canada
