    We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Capital Delivery Project Manager to join our Networks and Power team in Kidman Park on a full time basis

    Reporting to the Manager Capital Delivery you will play a key role in leading a small team of people with the collective objective of effecting construction and project management of assigned capital projects related to the APA managed Gas Distribution Networks around South Australia.

    On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include :

  • Manage multiple capital projects in a manner consistent with the APA Networks Project Management Methodology
  • Provide leadership and direction to the internal and external project team for the successful delivery of deliverables
  • Prepare accurate project cost estimates and project schedules
  • Manage project scope and approval for scope variations
  • Control project costs to achieve maximum return on investment
  • Workforce and resource planning to manage the scheduling of construction works to ensure that customer timeframes are achieved
  • About You

  • Extensive experience in project management methodologies and tools, or relevant tertiary qualifications complemented by 5 years’ experience in gas utility engineering or operational management Diploma / Certification in Project Management will be highly regarded
  • Previous contractor management experience
  • Proven record of delivering results, using operational efficiency and commercial acumen to effectively implement the business strategy
