Our Opportunity :
You will bring your vast technical knowledge and background to support and consult with our product manager in laying out a product roadmap that is differentiated and delivers unique value for our customer demands.
Your role will span many activities from strategic to tactical and provide cross-functional leadership bridging gaps within the company between different functions, especially between development, sales and marketing, and support.
Your ability to understand and define the technical architecture and engineering behind features and to translate high level customer functional requirements into technical tasks for development is a crucial skill.
Your role will include, but not be limited to the following :
Key Tasks :
As our product owner you will define the features and requirements necessary to deliver a complete product to market and lead the product team to success.
You will be responsible for articulating the what’ and working with development to determine the when.’ This will range from product releases to product strategy and more.
You will be responsible for supporting the product manager in defining the product vision and strategy.
Creating user stories and scenarios
Directing and approving UI / UX activities
Managing risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
Coordinating the overall product release schedule
Supporting the product manager in creating and managing the product backlog, roadmap, and vision
Consulting with product manager in creating business plans and proposals for new initiatives
Bachelor's Degree, MBA or other graduate degree
Deep technical knowledge in software development methodologies.
Strong ability to take complex user requirements and distill them into a format that can be understood by developers as well as non-technical staff
High degree of competency with project management, including issues and risk identification and management, tracking; demonstrated strong attention to detail.
5+ years progressive experience in engineering or Product Planning / Product Marketing / Product Management
Experience with Law Enforcement / Public Safety industry a plus
