As the Development Manager of the Digital Platforms team, you will collaborate with product owners, technology teams and key stakeholders to set clear objectives and work iteratively towards success through effective coaching and leadership.

Deliverables include :
Manages, develops, motivates, and coaches the team towards achieving goals and towards continuous learning.
Actively develop individuals within the team, support their career goals and improve Youi’s capabilities.
Working closely with senior leadership and product managers to help the group be successful by balancing quality, sustainability, and security with delivering on business outcomes.
Staying abreast of current and emerging technologies that will enable the business and introducing where appropriate
Accountability for Capacity Planning, including working with the Delivery Manager of the department to understand delivery requirements and develops appropriate resourcing plans to support.
Playing a key role in the IT Dev Leadership team to create a culture and environment where people love to come to work
Demonstrated experience of leading software development teams, ideally having led large groups of technical staff
A thorough understanding of modern Agile software development principles and practices.
Deep knowledge and experience in implementation of IT Resource and Skill Management.
Capable of working under minimal direction and exercising considerable latitude.
Experience working with remote staff and / or satellite offices.
Strong leadership skills combined with excellent analytical and technical skills.
Demonstrated ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations and solving problems by decomposing into manageable parts.
Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems. Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
