Data Migration Specialist
The Data Migration Specialist supports business systems data migration projects by performing analysis, data extraction and cleansing scripts to support the staged UAT and live implementation.

Data Management, Administration and Reporting
Perform analysis, support and migration of data between of systems
Respond to ad hoc requests from the business for data extraction from current and legacy systems
Liaise with external vendor for migration strategy / analysis and migration development.
Develop, review and approve design and implementation of internal and external migration
Write and maintain system documentation, manuals and procedures
Undertake testing to ensure technical aspects of the company with relevant internal policies and best practice principles where appropriate.
Adhere to and support the development of all ICT and relevant Business Systems procedures and behaviours including but not limited to Incident, Problem and Change Control practices.
Ensures problems are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
Works with expert users and technical resolvers to identify required changes.
Undertake any reasonable request or activity as directed by management relating to the Data Migration or related project activity.
Experience in all aspects of design, planning, production and technical expertise with T- SQL programming and Microsoft SQL
Proven track record in working with complex Data Migration projects
Strong analytical skills
Appropriate Industry Certifications or ITIL
Proven communication skills.
