About the role
Joining a high performing marketing team, as the Head of Mass Insurance Brands and Sponsorships, you will be accountable for the overall brand strategy, brand management and channel planning for the Suncorp, AAMI and GIO brands within the Suncorp Group portfolio.
You will also be accountable for strengthening Suncorp brands through the identification and implementation of innovative external sponsorship partnerships and customer engagement strategies.
Your objective is to reinvigorate the Mass insurance brands, delivering revenue growth, brand equity and overall marketing ROI.
More specifically you will
Develop and implement the brand strategy for each of the Mass insurance brands, aligned to the broader Group strategy
Manage brand governance, brand health and overall brand performance aligned to the broader Group targets.
Develop customer-centric strategies for brand positioning, proposition development, & marketing communications to drive profitable growth, in collaboration with the Portfolio leads.
Manage the end to end campaign process
Collaborate with cross functional teams within Brand & Marketing, including supporting media management and media strategy development to deliver business outcomes
Agency Relationship Management
Manage and activate to support the Group Insurance strategy and brand ambitions by delivering : Reach, national coverage, brand likeability and competitor blockingBuild scaled audience poolsAttract and deepen relationships through integrated brand engagement and experiences
Be accountable for revenue generation, brand equity and overall marketing ROI.
Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Suncorp’s risk appetite framework.
Lead marketers, inspiring them to think entrepreneurially, spend responsibly and channel the voice of our customers.
Manage the Group’s sponsorship portfolio, executing best in class sponsorship activity and leveraging to maximise ROI.
Identify future growth opportunities aligned to our strategic and business imperatives.
Lead and develop the capability of others through effective coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
Knowledge and Experience
An exceptional and strategic marketer, with a proven track record of building brands and driving business growth
Proven ability to build strong relationships, align diverse stakeholders around common goals and successfully motivate people toward shared outcomes
Experience managing the execution of marketing strategies across a portfolio of brands
Experience in managing large teams and exceptional leadership and transformation skills
A deep knowledge of digital technology, including experience and a competency in data driven marketing
Advanced strategic and conceptual thinking skills
Able to develop and implement realistic plans for complex system and / or process change
Financial acumen, commerciality and ability to unlock P&L value via brand, marketing and communications strategy
A Tertiary qualification in Marketing, or related disciplines, is desirable.
