This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Development Assessment and Certification department to learn and develop your skills in administration.
You will have the opportunity to undertake a wide range of customer and administrative support duties including :
Provide excellent customer experience and ensure timely and courteous responses to all correspondence projecting and promoting Council’s image
Provide high-level administrative support to the department
Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas and minute taking
Coordinate and facilitate monthly Design Review Panel meetings and provide administrative support for Regional Planning Panel meetings
Complete notification of development applications

Lake Mac is seeking a customer focused individual with a passion for administration and providing support to others. You will be confident, willing to learn and develop, respect and interact with customers and demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Reporting to the Personal Assistant to Manager, you will have :
Completed Year 10 or equivalent by end of 2020
Sound communication, interpersonal and computer skills
Willingness to undertake the required Certificate IV in Business Administration qualification online and within the term of the role
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment in an efficient and cooperative manner

35-hour working week within a nine-day fortnight
