We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic RF Engineers who would like to join our team in this specialised industry. Key responsibilities :
Be involved in the design, development and prototyping of new RF and microwave components and subsystems or modify existing products.
Have ability to undertake RF line-up budget calculations in Microwave Office (MWO) VSS, modelling and simulation of RF and microwave circuits using software packages, such as MWO and 3D tools such as CST.
Experience with synthesis of filters in either SFILTER from GENESYS and simulation in MWO AXIEM.
Ability to document designs for customer design reviews and to enable efficient manufacture of products.
Ability to utilise an ERP system to record the creation of part numbers and Bills of Materials.
Experience in performing part stress analysis and making reliability predictions. Undertake qualification testing of new products, including environmental testing, EMI / EMC, etc.
Operate RF Test Equipment such as VNAs, Spectrum Analysers, Synthesizers, Power Meters and Noise Figure Measurements

Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
Familiar with RF modelling and simulation software packages such as Microwave Office for RF line-up budget calculations, modelling and simulation of RF & microwave circuits.
Familiar or experience with software, such as CST or equivalent, for modelling 3D electromagnetic structures.
Experience with a drawing software package such as Autocad or Draftsight.
Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to internal and external parties.
Accuracy, thoroughness, persistence and attention to detail.
Familiar with a production environment.
Candidates MUST be Australian citizens as eligibility to hold an Australian Department of Defence Security Clearance is a requirement of the position.
A current Security Clearance of NV1 or higher is desirable.
