About this role

ING are looking for a Pricing Manager, Mortgages tojoin our Product Team. This is a key role in the team with the successful candidatebeing responsible for leading the ING Mortgages pricing strategy.

The PricingManager, Mortgages will have fantastic exposure across the organisation andwill drive Pricing recommendations within the portfolio, presenting directly tothe ING Executive Committee.

The team is focused on putting the customer firstand the successful candidate will lead the development of optimised pricingacross the mortgages portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have an innovativeapproach and have the opportunity to try new things and bring a fresh approachto the role.

The responsibilities of the Pricing Manager, Mortgages are acrossthe entire retail mortgages portfolio including the broker and direct distributionchannels.

Main responsibilities

  • A clear plan to drive desirable behaviours within the portfolio
  • Managing the ING pricing strategy to ensure a balance of performance between total balance and Margin
  • Leading pricing recommendations and presenting to the ING executive committee
  • Ensuring the on-going development of the ING pricing strategy and alignment across the wider business
  • Developing optimal pricing for New to Bank vs Retention
  • Maximising profit contribution of the Mortgages portfolio
  • Maximising controllable revenue of the mortgages portfolio
  • Building loyalty beyond rate
  • Analysis of the Mortgage portfolio to ensure optimal decision making
  • Providing and driving insights to better understand behaviour within the portfolio
  • About you

    We’re looking forsomeone with :

  • Degree qualified in business, mathematics or finance discipline (ideallypost-graduate in Economics, Econometrics or other finance discipline)
  • SQL & SAS
  • Experience in Product and Pricing management with proven optimisation ofPricing and P&L outcomes
  • A good understanding of retail banking products, particularly inmortgages (ideally 5 years’ experience in retail financial services)
  • Good relationship skills to liaise with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and research skills, including forecasting
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A self-starter who can manage stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to make and rationalise businessdecisions
