About the TeamThe Content Partnerships team is exactly as our name implies; we cover all things content and partnerships.
We work directly with Creators, Public Figures, Media Agencies, Broadcasters and Communities to grow their presence online and on TikTok.
Your RolePartnerships are a critical means by which we drive user growth, awareness, and usage of TikTok. We are looking for an experienced strategist to build on existing high level relationships and forge high impact new partnerships in the media industry.
As the Media Partnerships Manager for TikTok, you will work with publishers, broadcasters, news outlets, sports and gaming organisations, education and lifestyle brands (among others) to advocate for the TikTok platform and create a healthy ecosystem of diverse and local video content.
You will present to partners on TikTok's value, and lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users have access to the best local content possible.
This role requires close cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in Marketing, Programming, Sales and Operations, in addition to various ByteDance teams around the world.
Responsibilities- Develop strategy for media partnerships across key verticals including entertainment, sports, gaming, education and news, among others.
Manage day-to-day partnership activities, drive performance growth across partner accounts, and advocate internally on behalf of our partners.
Qualifications- BA / BS degree or higher.- 6+ years experience media and / or digital industry, with a focus on business development, digital initiatives and audience growth.
