The Data Linkage Unit is located within Systems Performance and Services Division of SA Health to undertake the development and maintenance of a data linkage system in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
The SA Health roles are seconded into the SA Health managed Data Linkage Unit that operates within SA NT DataLink. SA Health are the lead South Australian Government Department in the SA NT Data Linkage Consortium which includes the following members :
The Senior Data Linkage Analyst is responsible for undertaking complex linking of data and provision of anonymised keys to support integration of data for policy and program evaluation, monitoring, planning, analysis and research studies required to meet the State, Territory and Commonwealth Government priorities, policies and legislative requirements.
The role manages the data and is responsible for maintaining and improving the specialist SA NT DataLink systems used for linking the data and extracting high quality data linkage keys to support research studies and analysis by researchers and policy officers.
