We’re here to help in the moments that matter, whether you’re at fault or not. Our Motor Claims Services team understands how stressful motor accidents and damage from weather events can be.

Our Claim Specialists make our customers feel relaxed and heard, asking the right questions to make sure their needs are met and work to get them back on the road as quickly as possible.

We are currently looking for customer service experts to join our Brisbane Motor Claims team on a part time 12-month contract.

This role will see you connecting with existing customers across our Brands, leveraging your brilliant customer service skills to answer claim lodgement enquiries, understand their mobility needs and find great solutions to meet these.

Key Accountabilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls from existing and potential customers who have enquiries regarding motor insurance policies
  • Consistently provide a superior customer service experience for customers, responding flexibly to their evolving needs and managing their expectations of the claim process
  • Make liability determinations for some claim types
  • Contribute to managing claims costs through effective pathing of vehicles for repair, and through excess collection
  • Resolve enquiries in a timely manner
  • Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a high touch customer service environment (note this is a phone-based role)
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond for customers
  • Willingness to apply feedback and coaching to achieve targets and expectations
  • High levels of resilience and empathy
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
  • Whilst a service-based role, candidates would benefit from sales experience or strong influencing and negotiating backgrounds
  • Shift Options

    These are part-time positions working 25 hours a week on a 12 month contract, Monday to Friday starting between 6am and 9am.


    If successful, you will be required to attend 5 weeks of compulsory full-time training, Monday to Friday, commencing Monday 16th November in the Brisbane office.

    Work from home requirements

    These roles are based in our Brisbane offices. However, due to Covid 19, you will be working a combination of in the office and from home.

    To successfully work from home, you will need the following :

  • Home phone line or VOIP connection
  • Internet connection
  • Computer or laptop with keyboard and mouse dual screens are recommended
  • Ergonomic set up with desk and chair in a quiet, private space
