The position :
Professional Waiters Baristas Bartenders are needed to deliver a comprehensive precision service standard as desired by our customers within a fun dining experience.
The role :
Food & Beverage Staff / Waiters work in a team that includes Restaurant Manager, Supervisors and General Manager / Owner James Howarth
Hands on attention to guests needs in accordance with established service sequence
Flexible approach to fit in with the shifting demand generated by frequent & irregular trading patterns
Ensure a relaxed, inviting dining experience whilst maintaining exceptionally speedy and precise service delivery
Work the floor and demonstrate to less senior staff how consistent service standards are to be implemented
Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with kitchen
Other general duties include but are not limited to till operation (a working knowledge of Redcat POS system useful but not essential), carrying out morning setup and evening close down procedures and receiving deliveries etc
Essential Skills, Experience & Background :
Previous similar position in fine dining / quality restaurant, brasserie, hotel, resort or similar
Authority and finesse to take charge of busy lunchtime and / or dinner service periods
Uncompromising attention to service detail and customer satisfaction
Eyes everywhere" approach to service backed up with anticipation and demonstrable organisational skills to ensure service flows
Graceful customer service manner and ability to build customer rapport to up sell product
Advanced food and wine knowledge
Desirable Skills, Experience & Background :
Education and training in Food & Beverage Service
Current Responsible Service Alcohol (RSA)
Passion for sharing hospitality skills and knowledge. Working in a supportive team environment to build a multi skilled and reliable service combination
