    Our recruitment team are still busy sourcing providers for future vacancies working within our Aged Community Care business.

    Given this is a very fluid situation, these positions do not currently have an agreed start date and will be directly influenced by the virus impact.

    We are however, still looking for Passionate , Kind and Dedicated candidates who will be ready to dive straight into work once we have passed this difficult time.

    Our metro recruitment team are looking to speak with :

    Support Workers (Care Aide) Min of three days essential*

  • Minimum days are dictated by our client requirements and will vary from one vacancy to the other. The required days and shift pattern will be discussed with you during the pre-qualifying process.
  • Candidates with full weekly availability are highly regarded.

    Care Aides Shifts :

  • Day Shifts are typically rostered between 7am to 3pm (Monday through to Friday)
  • Afternoon / Evening shifts are typically rostered between 3pm to 11pm (Monday through to Friday)
  • Weekend shifts can be a combination of the both
  • To be successful in this role, you will possess :

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC or Disability (mandatory)
  • Experience delivering low, moderate and complex care, preferably within the community.
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Wellness Approach (HACC) and understand the concept of early intervention and restorative care.
  • Satisfactory national Police Certificate (on commencement of employment and updated every three years per the Aged Care Act 1997).
  • Current motor vehicle driver’s licence (with no restrictions, not on P or L plates) in addition to access to a reliable registered motor vehicle with a minimum of third-party insurance.
  • Key responsibilities

    Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients. Responsibilities can include skin care, toileting, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, fitting and removal of pressure stockings, mobility, fluid intake, feeding, meal preparation, respite and assisting with medication.

    Support will also be required with Home Help duties, these can include general housekeeping, social support and basic first aid.

    Our process

    We are now utilising our newly formed remote’ recruitment process. This can include video calls and online interviews. These are easily accessible for potential candidates and the process still provides a welcoming and personal touch, whilst still conforming to responsible social distancing.
