What success looks like in this role :

  • The Program Manager manages a program of projects and Project Managers across the Account. A key aspect of the role is to promote Unisys products, portfolios and tools including ensuring the Account PMO has trained SMEs to deliver projects, ensuring governance and rigour across the project delivery processes and practices;
  • and continual improvement in deployment practices, drilling down into scoping and implementation processes and funnelling process improvements and time savings back into the PMO.

    Other responsibilities include :

  • Assist in Account opportunity pursuit by articulating PMO capabilities.
  • Act as a QA point that keeps the sales process and the client expectations grounded in the PMO’s capabilities through active engagement in the bid review process and project review boards.
  • Develop and drive execution of the Account program, with milestones and metrics : Identify and manage key stakeholders within the Account.
  • Manage PMO communication to Home Affairs Account project managers.Identify implementation issues before they become client apparent issues and pre-empt with appropriate actions.

    Assure proper client communications are taking place. Mentor and functionally supervise Account project managers and teams.

    Drive constant improvement in deployment practices, drilling down into planning and implementation processes and funnelling process improvements and time savings back into the standard implementation plan.

    You will be successful in this role if you have :

  • Extensive experience working at Project and Program Manager levels (10+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team
  • Highly developed stakeholder relationship and client engagement skills
  • AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance with ability to secure NV1.
