About the client

Our client is an international supplier of generators and temperature control equipment for hire with locations throughout the world.

The clients operations span across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance of hire fleet assets.

This position is residential, offering the opportunity for local applicants and those willing to relocate to join the Karratha community and work locally with our client.

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventative and scheduled maintenance of hire fleet assets
  • Ability to maintain required tools, stock levels and ensure materials are in place
  • Maintain and modify equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
  • Provide quality workmanship, effectively troubleshoot and maintain the reliability of equipment
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with team members and communications with internal and external customers
  • Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to work health and safety guidelines
  • About You

  • Trade qualification; supported by current A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Previous experience working with power generation & or similar industries
  • Excellent Electrical troubleshooting skills, with sound knowledge of Cummins KV, QST or Scania industrial engine products
  • Localised travel as required to other project sites / regional depots
  • Current driver's licence
  • Current forklift licence
