The Position :

We are excited to announce we are now seeking an experienced National Apprentice and Upgrade Program Coordinator

The successful candidate will be responsible for the developing and managing the company’s Apprentices, Upgrade and Traineeship Programs nationally.

About You :

  • 3 + years Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience with administration of Australian Apprenticeship / Traineeships and upgrades
  • Understanding of traineeship incentives and state subsidised training funding
  • Passionate about Mentoring, Coaching and Development
  • Ability to multitask and stay highly organised
  • Attention to detail
  • Good written and oral communication with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Knowledge and the application of OH&S in the workplace.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • C class drivers’ licence
  • Able to travel interstate as required
  • What to Expect :

  • Develop and implement apprentice and traineeship programs and framework to suit the role, environment and requirements
  • Monitor all training and tafe requirements in a timely manner to ensure training schedules are being met
  • Provide support and guidance to apprentices, upgrade and traineeship employees
  • Engage and maintain relationships with third party training providers apprenticeship networks and state training authorities
  • Engage in educational outreach activities within the community to raise awareness of the business’s apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Coordinate work experience opportunities
