We are seeking :

A motivated Senior HR Advisor to join our friendly and dynamic manufacturing operations based in Canning Vale. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you will have a strong HR Generalist background with the ability to engage stakeholders, whilst collaboratively embedding a safe work culture and drive employee engagement and deliver value-add HR support on all people matters.

This role will be well suited to an experienced HR generalist who can work autonomously and who enjoys working at an operational level.

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with 100 FTEs, in a role that offers diversity and challenge.

You will be able to :

  • Provide site leadership and advice on the full range of employment and industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and mitigation of risk
  • Facilitate the delivery of key HR programs : annual performance and remuneration reviews, succession planning & talent management, incentive plans and other related Reward and Benefit programs
  • Develop, lead and support the delivery of a suite of HR Projects to deliver business value particularly design and implementation of high performing team plans
  • Prepare, review and submit site mobilisation plans and workforce planning
  • Conduct or support Line Managers to undertake investigations in relation to incidents of misconduct or under-performance, employee grievances and procedural breaches
  • Conduct end to end recruitment and on-boarding of new starters, terminations and other employee movements
  • Generate and interpret key HR metrics and reports to improve HR and site performance.
  • Prepare monthly reports, briefings, correspondence and deliver presentations as required
  • Support injury management / return-to-work and effectively manage Workers’ Compensation cases as required
  • Actively participate in safety programs including safety interactions and inspections / audits
  • What we are looking for :

  • Minimum 5+yrs. practical experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within the manufacturing, mining or other heavy industry
  • Relevant HR qualification, (desired Diploma in HR Mgt)
  • Ability to build effective interpersonal relationships at all levels across the business
  • Self-motivated individual who is seeking an opportunity to develop their professional experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • The willingness and capability to lead on HR related matters
  • Well-developed critical thinking, analytical and planning skills
  • Strong understanding of HR commercial & financials
  • Exemplary written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package commensurate with their experience and the current market as well as free on-site parking and access to the company wide monthly bonus scheme after a qualification period.
