About Olympic Dam Mine
One of Australia’s largest mines and a complex minerals processing operation, Olympic Dam is unique in that we produce Copper, Uranium, Gold and Silver.

About The Position
As the Mine Control Operations Engineer you will be based at Olympic Dam operation and will report to the Superintendent Control Operations.
This position will see you ensure the Mine Control Operations is operating efficiently, effectively and delivering customer requirements.
You will also investigate, identify and implement improvement opportunities, working closely with other engineering teams.
This position is being offered on a 5 days on 2 days off / 4 days on 3 days off Dayshift roster. FIFO from Adelaide and Residential options are available.
As the successful candidate, you will have a tertiary education in Engineering and previous experience working at an underground Mining operation, particularly planning and scheduling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across departments and to communicate at all levels.
A strong working knowledge of Power BI, Mining and ERP and the Microsoft Office suite is well regarded.
You will also experience working within control rooms or control centres as well as your leadership awareness and drive to see you succeed in this role.
