    About the role

    The role of Support Officer is to provide administrative services and support to the Director and Heads of Service. The role requires diary management, event and meeting coordination and administrative support to the senior members of the Learning and Dementia Centre team.

    With a team of colleagues working across Australia and engaging with various stakeholders, this role requires strong information gathering, attention to detail and excellent communication skills using multiple IT platforms.

    The essence of this role :

  • General Administrative support to the Learning and Dementia Centre Director, Heads of Service and liaison with interstate offices, including data entry, reporting, rostering, travel and accommodation bookings, support for meetings, recruitment and other tasks as required.
  • Liaise with other HammondCare staff in other business units.
  • Selection Criteria

  • Practical experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Demonstrated experience customer service or contact centre experience.
  • Excellent computer skills including database management and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to work within HammondCare's Motivation, Mission and Mission in Action.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to record, report and maintain information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy work environment.
  • Strong relationship building skills, listening skills and empathy.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
