    An exciting opportunity exists for a bright, enthusiastic Technical Support & Training Officer to join Minnovare’s Perth-based team and become a part of their success.

    The successful candidate will be a key member of the Operations team by primarily implementing the company’s technology in some of Australia’s largest and most remote mining operations.

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be considered an integral part of the team. Your solutions-based attitude and desire to share innovative ideas with the team will be highly valued.

    In addition, your proactivity, enthusiasm and authenticity in providing first class customer service will facilitate your successful delivery of training, ongoing support and customer engagement.


  • Attend remote underground mining operations to provide customers with technology implementation and training.
  • Remote technical training (virtual training)
  • Provide customers with ongoing technical support and advice through regular communication.
  • Proactively support customers through remotely monitoring operating systems.
  • Accurately record client communication and other relevant data within the CRM system.
  • Address technical issues or troubleshooting field calls / emails from customers.
  • Clean, test, repair and assemble technological devices prior to dispatch.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures.
  • Attend mine sites as required per operational requirements and potentially at short notice.
  • Manage distributors’ technical support training and stock requirements.
  • Experience

  • Experience working remotely is essential; working on remote mine sites is desirable.
  • Training and assessment experience advantageous.
  • Experience in the repair and maintenance of technical equipment advantageous.
  • Basic tool use and understanding essential.
  • Experience within the underground or drill and blast industry desirable.
  • Technical Skills

  • Excellent computer literacy and proficiency, particularly Word and Excel.
  • CRM experience desirable.
  • Current C Class unrestricted manual license mandatory.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to comfortably build rapport with personnel across all levels.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team member as well as being capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
