About the role

Tronox have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Process Engineer based at our Chandala Mineral Processing Plant ( Muchea, 64km north of CBD) drive in, drive out residential and Cooljarloo Mine ( Cataby , 180km north of CBD ) drive in, drive out camp facilities, 5 / 2, 4 / 3 roster over a maximum term three (3) year contract.

Duties

As a Tronox Graduate, you will be on a structured three (3) year development program where you will : -

  • Participate in professional areas where you will enhance your theoretical, practical and operational knowledge of functional practices;
  • Participate in personal (generic skill and knowledge) programmes which provide key learning opportunities in areas such as professional writing skills, communication, influencing and management processes;
  • Dependent on site and discipline, a job rotational plan may be offered to expose you to as many different working environments as possible to maximise learning opportunities within each area;
  • You may be offered short term assignments at other Tronox mining and / or pigment operations within Australia during the three (3) year term as part of your learning; and
  • Be mentored by experienced Tronox professionals who will broaden your business knowledge and support your ongoing career development through the Tronox Mentoring Program.
  • You should apply if you : -

  • Are tertiary qualified in relevant discipline
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a willingness to develop interpersonal relationship skills
  • Have proven ability to work both individually and as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team
  • Have excellent planning and organisational skills
