About the Role
The role of the Infrastructure Delivery Directorate is to procure allocated infrastructure for Main Roads Western Australia.
Major Projects Branch provides development and delivery of major and complex projects, in collaboration with regional and other key stakeholders across the State.
Main Roads requires your expertise as a Project / Contract Manager to deliver a range of large, complex infrastructure projects across the state, to provide a safer more efficient road network to our community.
As a Project / Contract Manager you will be an integral part of an experienced project team and have the opportunity to work on a variety of road infrastructure projects throughout the state.
In this role you may, at times manage contracts or projects or a combination as required. Typically you will perform duties including scoping, project development, design, delivery and review of projects.
Four positions are available for immediate appointment. A pool for Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extension and / or permanency will be established from this process and will operate for up to 12 months.
As the successful person, you will have proven experience in project and contract management of large and complex road and / or bridge projects and in the design and construction of roads and / or bridges.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to manage resources as well as your experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Your well-developed negotiation skills will be advantageous in this role.
Although based in Perth, you must be willing and able to travel and work on projects based throughout the state, for the life of the project.
