The Client Services Team Placement Consultant is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of assistance and advice to MAX Employment job seekers who are fully eligible for Employment Services support via set monthly phone appointments.

An employee appointed to this level shall in addition to the duties of a CST CSO deliver over the phone contact services to groups of job seekers.

Incumbents may be required to focus on one aspect or perform variety of activities listed under Key Responsibilities during the course of their employment.


  • Conduct monthly phoneinterviews
  • At initial phone contact, explain phone contact services and job seekerexpectations
  • Ensure job seeker is actively job searching including discussing any job and / or jobtrials
  • Ensure job seeker is participating in any Work for the Dole (WfD)requirements
  • EnsurejobseekerislinkedtoMAX ConnectandusingMAX Connectaspartoftheirjobsearchingregime
  • Ensure job seeker person job fit is completed and up to date (from1 / 7 / 15)
  • Identify suitable job referrals using MAX Connectand other websites
  • Ensure job seeker has an up to date and marketableresume
  • Make future appointment (phone or face toface)
  • Ensure job seeker is given information on their Annual Activity Requirements (AAR) one monthbefore
  • Ensure attendance management requirements are adheredtoo
  • Ensure all KPI’s aremet
  • Ensure that job seeker case notes and all other documentation are relevant, and in line with the minimum contractualstandards
  • Conduct administrative activities consistent with Employment Services contractual and legislative requirements, and MAX Employment philosophy and qualitystandards
  • Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members including volunteers and contractors abide by all relevant health and safety procedures
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours and report all accidents, incidents or near misses immediately.

  • Proven experience within a similarrole

  • Experience within an Employment Service environment, would be anadvantage.
  • Qualifications

  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Working with Children Check (orequivalent)
  • Ability to undertake a Certificate IV EmploymentServices
  • Participation in professional development and training asrequired.
