We're after a work health and safety expert who can write with a conversational and approachable tone - WHS is not a favourite subject for students!

To be successful, you :

  • Have qualification in, or one hat significantly includes, the management of work health and safety.
  • Write English fluently and can explain complex information well
  • Possess excellent grammar, spelling and academic writing skills
  • Can work independently
  • Follow an evidence based approach
  • Understand how to research, reference and avoid plagiarism
  • Use Microsoft word inbuilt formatting functions.
  • Candidates with a medical or veterinary background will be highly regarded, however this is not necessary as we will pair you with a co-author with a veterinary nursing background to ensure clinical relevance.

    This sub-contract position is HOME based. You'll need to have a great home office setup, Microsoft Word and internet access.

    You don’t need to be based in Australia either, we will consider applicants from overseas with the right experience and background, however Australian based legislation, regulations and codes of practice must be embedded.

    This is a sub-contract role, and not an employment role. Therefore you will need to meet any taxation requirements in your home country independently of VNS.

    Remuneration : Expect between AUD$2000-3500 - price will be set once initial discussion on content are covered. Payment is paid staggered through development, with balance paid upon an acceptable final draft.

    We will provide you with all necessary learning outcomes and subject outlines and our education experts will work with you during the development to ensure the content and learning activities are suitable.

    It is important to note that if successful, you will be expected to sign a content development contract which includes assignation of intellectual property to VNS.
